These past couple of months since our last release, we asked ourselves, “What can we do to make SkyDrive even better?” The most obvious answer is something that our users have asked us to do: give out more storage. We’re excited to announce that we’re doubling everyone’s storage to 1 GB!

Many users told us, “Hey, we want to be notified when someone adds a file to a specific folder,” so we added RSS feeds to public folders. To subscribe to an RSS feed, go to the public folder that you’re interested in, and click on the orange RSS Feed icon at the top right of the page. Then, anytime that folder is updated, you’ll be notified. We love this feature because we get notified as soon as our friends upload new files to their folders.

Another thing users told us is that it’s difficult to share a folder with people that aren’t in your address book. People said, “We have to go to Hotmail or Messenger in order to add someone to our address books. Why can’t we just do it on SkyDrive itself?” We fixed that. Now, you can share with anyone directly from SkyDrive by typing in your friend’s e-mail address.

Finally, users told us that it would be nice to know who uploaded each file. So, we now display the name of the person that added each file.

We’re excited about these new features, and we hope you like them. Check out the new version, and let us know what you think.

UK 18 year old offers her virginity for £10,000

Baby-faced Carys Copestake, 18, has offered her virginity for the price of £10,000 to help her pay for university tuitions.

The British 18 year old used a false name to advertise herself on a website popular with prostitutes, with her parents having no idea of the bizarre way of getting cash for university.

The ad reads: "Virginity For Sale £10,000," she adds:

"Hey, I think the title says it all. I’m an 18-year-old virgin with student funds to pay and I’m looking to sell my first time right here. I’m brunette, 34C, green eyes, all in proportion and good looking."

The young woman, who still lives with her parents, is one of thousands of students who are struggling to afford the £20,000 fees which cover tuition and accommodation.

She told a journalist: "For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to keep my first time special and wait for the right guy. I’m not like other girls who want rid of it from the word go.

"I’m getting curious about myself and the opposite sex. I want to explore and I want someone to teach me.

"I’ve also found myself in a financial situation where I need to fundmy studies. I figured this could be killing two birds with one stone.

"I get lots of guys wanting to help me out with my ‘problem’ – some replies are really creepy. But I got so frustrated with the empty offers that I turned them down."

She explained: "I have to be careful, you could have been someone I know, even one of my teachers."

After we asked for proof of her age, she showed her provisional driving licence and joked: "I’m shocked you think I’m so young."

She explained she was due to start a four-year physics course at Salford University in September.

She admitted doing nothing more than holding hands with a guy – and didn’t want to go to university a virgin.

"Why do you want a discount?"

Asked how she wanted to be paid, the greedy teen replied: "Cash would be perfect but what does £10,000 look like? I don’t want to wander round with that much money in case I get robbed." But she got angry when our man asked if she was a prostitute and lying about losing her innocence.

 

"I don’t know how to prove to you that I’m a virgin. You’ll have to trust me."

Asked how she imagined how she’d lose her virginity, she said: "Maybe we can have a meal, relax, and go back to your hotel. I hope you don’t feel offended, but do you mind wearing a condom? That’s one thing I’m worried about."

After our man left, she bombarded him with texts saying: "I’m really excited. Why don’t we meet at mine and stay till six? That way I’m not telling so many lies to my family."

But her mood changed when our reporter asked for a lower price. She said: "Why do you want a discount? No, seriously, it’s got to be ten, that’s what the deal was."

When The People asked about her plans to sell her virginity, Carys said: "I’ve been offered the money in cash and I’m going to do it this Thursday. Sorry I’m at work so I can’t speak any more."

In northern China, Foxconn’s employees were demanded that perform a health examination for Tony Gou’s bone marrow transplantation.

Foxconn also requests workers to have an examination of their bone marrow, since a family member of one manager has leukemia. Ms He confirmed that the company did in fact request the examination.

In south China, Foxconn’s Longhua factory, Shenzhen city, most of the employees, over 30,000 people, were forced to stand in line several hours to enter the ceremony area, and bows head three times in acknowledgment of Gou’s devotion. Each section NEEDs to send employees out to pray all night for his soul. The company also demanded that all employees are not prohibited to wear red/yellow/pink clothes after July 5; any Red Marks must be cleared, and not allowed to make a noise or even smile in dining halls.

“The same thing had happened in the past, on the death of Foxconn boss’s wife,” said Hou, an employee of Foxconn’s Longhua factory. At the time, because all dining halls were closed, close to 20,000 workers HAD to go out to eat somewhere after working overtime and having to stand for 12 hours.

　茨城県つくば市の１人暮らしの女性（２０）宅を訪れ、「奴隷にして下さい」と懇願し、ドアのすき間から手をつかんだ男（３２）が１８日までに、暴行の疑いで茨城県警つくば中央署に逮捕された。調べによると運送会社社員・大谷健介容疑者は、女性を路上で見かけて一目ぼれ。"ドＭ男"なのかと思いきや、恋愛に不慣れだった様子で「かわいがってもらいたかった」と供述しているという。

　「ピンポーン」。１７日午後１０時１０分、女性がアルバイト先から帰ってきた約２分後にチャイムは鳴った。

　女性がチェーンを掛けたままドアを開けると、外にいたのは大谷容疑者。いきなり「好きです。奴隷にして下さい」とお願いしてきたという。夜の珍客を不気味に思った女性がドアを閉めようとすると、腕が伸びてきて女性の腕をキャッチ。「警察に届けますよ」と叫ぶと同容疑者は闇に消えたという。

　通報を受けた警官が午後１０時３３分ごろ、帰宅途中の大谷容疑者を発見。容疑を認めたため１８日午前４時ごろ、暴行容疑で逮捕となった。

　調べに対し大谷容疑者は「１か月半くらい前に近所で見かけて、（女性に）一目ぼれしました」とアツい思いを告白。同容疑者は当日、仕事を休んでおり、訪問理由を「気持ちを伝えたくて訪ねた」と供述。帰宅を見計らったようなタイミングについては「たまたま。電気がついていたので」と説明しているという。

　捜査関係者によると大谷容疑者はアパートで１人暮らし。小柄で中肉、髪は短く、オタク風でもなく「内向的で物静かな会社員という印象」という。捜査関係者も驚く「奴隷にしてください」という"Ｍ男発言"について、大谷容疑者は「女性との付き合いが下手だった。（女性に）かわいがってもらいたかった」と説明。「今まで女性と交際したことがなかったようだ」（捜査関係者）という同容疑者の恋愛キャリアが発言につながったとみられる。

　手をつかんだのも「ドアを閉められたら気持ちを伝えるチャンスがなくなってしまう」と、とっさの行動だったことを強調。女性がチェーンをかけていなかったら…という危険性も考えられるが、捜査関係者は「強姦（ごうかん）や暴行の意思はなかったと言っている」と暴行容疑での立件になりそうだ。

Shanghai: City moves to protect ‘traditional treasures’

SHANGHAI named 83 folk arts as its first batch of city-level intangible culture heritage today as part of the city’s efforts to protect and promote these "traditional treasures."

The popular "Huju Opera, Lion Dancing, Dough Modeling and the Longhua Temple Fair" can be found on the list, which has 10 categories — folk music, dances, operas, folk art, acrobatics, handicrafts, medicine and folk customs.

The familiar Nanxiang xiaolongbao from Jiading District is also on the list.

Nine crafts out of the 83 were listed as China’s state-level intangible culture heritage last year by the State Council, said a spokeswoman for the municipality.

They are Kunqu Opera, Peking Opera, Yueju Opera, Huju Opera, Jiangnansizhu (South traditional stringed and woodwind musical instruments), bamboo carving, Guxiu (Gu embroidery), Luogushu (singing and talking with traditional percussion instruments) and Wunijing cotton spinning handicraft.

"Though some on the list didn’t originate in Shanghai, for example, Kunqu Opera and Peking Opera, Shanghai is carrying them forward," said the spokeswoman.

The city provides these immigrant arts with bigger stages and richer contents, she said.

Shanghai now has 18 theaters, stages or concert halls, some of which stage only Chinese traditional operas everyday, like the Yi Fu Theater on Fuzhou Road in Huangpu District. (For more stage information, please refer to live.shanghaidaily.com/entertain)

The decline of folk art is common throughout the country. To rescue and preserve intangible cultural heritage, the State Council listed 518 items in 10 categories.

The second Saturday of June is "National Cultural Heritage Day."
